About me and my approach

Trauma-Informed Listening ApproachOur stories hold both pain and resilience. My trauma-informed approach draws on internal compassion, grounded presence, and practices that support regulation rather than retraumatization.Together, we move at your pace, honoring the wisdom of your mind, body, and spirit.About MeI offer spiritual direction shaped by Ignatian spirituality, interfaith openness, and compassion for the complexity of human experience. I hold space for people in grief, transition, and healing, and I’m committed to creating environments of safety, dignity, and deep listening.I am a Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) with nine years of spiritual care experience in a variety of facility and institutional settings. My graduate education in theology is from Whitworth University and Western Theological Seminary. I study and practice Internal Family Systems (IFS) and enjoy the current research on trauma healing and neurobiology. I am a practicing Catholic lay woman and mother of two adult sons. Prior to my chaplaincy vocation, I studied agricultural economics and owned and operated a small farm.
